I'm originally from Peru, and I attended the Universidad de San Martin de Porres for my doctor of dental surgery degree. I worked as a dentist for a while in Peru before moving to the United States and learning English. I'm proud of my bilingual ability, and I enjoy helping students achieve that distinction. I'm comfortable working with students of all ages and levels of ability. I speak English and Spanish a daily basis, and I know the places where students usually trip up in their language learning. I believe that students make the most progress when they are able to incorporate language learning into things they enjoy in their daily life. This helps students stay motivated and engaged, and they learn more quickly and more completely. I customize my approach to each student that I work with, and I work at their pace to keep them comfortable and making progress. I can assist students in the Spanish language, DAT prep, TOEFL prep, and related subjects. When I have spare time, I like to dance, do Zumba and yoga, travel, and spend time with my family.
